Short review: Food & price is great! It is not a fancy place but if you are looking for good food, nice people, and fair prices then this one should be a good choice. More detailed review: I had a double hamburger with fries and a sweet tea. The burgers are really good and taste like a real burger should. The fries are good too (thick crinkle style) they were perfectly cooked with a crunch on the outside. (fyi they came with no salt, and none was in my to-go container. There was ketchup though.) Price: The cost was very fair for what all I received. The locals are eating here, so that should tell you something. The only real negative is that the place is a little on the older/run down side. There is enough room, but the decore... let's just say it is "Trump Rally" inspired. It is on the "red" side, with the flags to prove it. I got the feeling if you are not a Trump fan and said so, you may be asked to leave lol. So if you are sensitive to that, this decore is probably not for you. The bathrooms are not in good shape. I saw another review that said the bathrooms were dirty/smelly like a "porta-john," but I did not think they were that bad. It was/is in bad shape though for a commercial building and was not stocked with soap or papertowels, when I was there. I asked, and was told to wash my hands at the service/waiters station; this was/is odd but at least it was something. I read in that other review that manager did not own the building and thus could not change the bathroom. The person that ownes the building desperately needs to invest in a bathroom remodel. The service was very good, the ladies were attentive and friendly. I do plan to go back. I want to try the breakfest foods, the pancake pics look awesome. I hope this review helps in your decision.
Visited this place for the first time on our way home from a mountain trip for my husband’s birthday. As soon as we walked in the door, we felt at home. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The food was DELICIOUS! The pork tenderloins and home fries were some of the best I’ve had. They even gave us a little discount for my husband’s birthday! So sweet! Definitely give them a try!
This café was really great! Good food and AMAZING prices! We went to have breakfast and my eggs were cooked just right and the biscuits were spot on. I plan on going back to eat here, I really think this place is one of my favorites now!
